BANFF-AB - Closing out another great season at Sunshine Village, the 80th annual Slush Cup takes place on May 19th.  Exciting events take place all weekend long including live performances by BC/DC, the Rude Boys “Season Ender Bender” snowboard competition on Saturday, Molson Beer Gardens and beach party events.

Ranked by Skiing Magazine and Ski Canada Magazine as one of the top spring parties in North America, Sunshine’s Slush Cup is an event not to be missed.  Every year thousands rally to cheer on crazy individuals in their pursuit to clear the frigid water at Sunshine.  Dressed in the craziest outfits imaginable, contestants do their best to impress the judges and the crowd in vying for prizes such as Best Belly Flop and Awesome Air.

Bring your beach gear and enjoy the great weather.  Have fun playing snow volleyball or take it easy in the Molson Beer Gardens.

2:00 pm – BC/DC Live Concert – Village Area

Live performances by BC/DC will take place in the Village on Saturday and Sunday starting at 2:00 pm.  Redefining the concept of a tribute band, BC/DC has garnered iconic status among diehard fans. The concert is FREE to anyone with a lift ticket, gondola only ticket or season pass. www.bcdc.ca

Rude Boys “Season Ender Bender” Snowboard Competition – Rogers Terrain Park - May 17th Only!

Rude Boys and Sunshine Village is proud to present the Rude Boys Season Ender Bender Snowboard Competition on May 17th.  Everyone 18 years of age and over are welcome to participate in this jam style event (slope style).  There will be categories for both men and women and prizes will be handed out.  To pre-register for the event, visit Rude Boys in Banff or stop by Trappers on the day of the event between 9:00 and 10:00 am.
