The Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park provide experiences in one of the world's most natural wonders, the Canadian Rocky Mountains, a world UNESCO Heritage site.
If you are like me, I once thought that Banff was just a Winter place to ski and play, but after coming here I quickly learned that Winter is the low season and Summer is in fact the high season.
All this means is that there is plenty of skiing at three world class ski resorts for skiers and boarders of all levels throughout the Winters and a 7 month long ski season. (Sunshine Village and Lake Louise).
Summer is packed with camping, rafting, hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing tours, biking and yes, shopping! There really is something for everyone.
All through the year enjoy the Upper Hot Springs and the Banff Gondola.
Here is a suggestion of bothe Summer itineraries and Winter itineraries and if you join our newsletter for deals and specials you will receive a 4 page document of 20 things to do in Banff.
The Canadian Rockies are well supplied with hotels and accommodations as well as restaurant and dining options to fit all budgets.
We hope you come to discover the beauty and wonder of the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park, and if you have been already we hope that you return soon.
