The Town of Jasper is located in Jasper National Park about 3 hours North West of the town of Banff.
After driving West head North on Highway 93, otherwise known as the Icefields Parkway, just past Lake Louise. This has to be one of the most beautiful and scenic drives in the world, both in Summer and Winter.
After passing the Columbia Icefields, Jasper lies about one hour beyond.
Established in 1813, the Town of Jasper has a population of just over 4,000 people. Numerous hotels and accommodation options are available, but book ahead in the busy seasons. The town also features a wonderful collection of eateries and restaurants that are mostly locally owned and operated providing a local charm that is impossible to miss.
In addition to the friendly town, mountains and lakes await you in both Summer and Winter to provide beautiful scenery and endless outdoor activity and sightseeing options.
