A British inventor has introduced a strange new take on skiing. Or snowboarding, depending on how you look at it.
The invention is really a clever binding setup that switches from skis to an arrangement that links the two skis together to form one sliding device; presto, a snowboard. The individual sliding elements are two short, shaped skis that have the appropriate attachments so that bindings can be changed from ski-wise to snowboard-wise in a jiffy (less than 30 seconds they say at Boardski.biz).
The inventor admits that Bulldog is not for the purist skier or snowboarder but offers a way of having a bit of fun on both. From the video it appears that Bulldog makes a better snowboard than pair of skis.
