Hoodoos
Hoodoos are composed sedimentary rock covered by harder rock that is harder to erode. Once softer sediment erodes rock needle, or tower like natural obstacles are left.
To ge there, drive up Tunnel Mountain road from the town. Pass the hotels on top of the hill and you will pass a campground on your left. Keep going and you will find the sign on your right. Parking will be on your left. (Please do not to park in the bus parking. Big busses can’t go around if there is a car there and they may block your car if they need to.)
There are few guard rails so please be careful. Hoodoos can be seen below you down in the valley. You may see some people walking under the Hoodoos. There is no official trail to get there and you need good shoes that have excellent grip if you want to go.
